At Pierre Cardin, we believe the future of fashion belongs to the next generation. Created to discover and support emerging talent, the Pierre Cardin Young Designers Award (PCYDA) has already been organized in more than 15 international editions across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East.
Since its launch, the competition has offered talented fashion students a unique opportunity to meet the Maison's design teams, participate in exclusive workshops led by Pierre Cardin designers and Rodrigo Basilicati Cardin, and present their work during a final ceremony featuring a fashion show and awards presentation.
More than 17 young designers from around the world have already been selected to complete a paid internship at the Pierre Cardin design studio in Paris. Since 2025, additional distinctions including the Creativity Award and Potential Award have further recognized outstanding participants.
